August Done And Dusted

Another great weekend in the Premier League saw a nine goal thriller at Goodison Park (sucks to have Tim Howard in your team!), Tottingham soundly beaten at home by Liverpool, a shock defeat at home to Stoke for Man Citeh and plucky Man Yoo still searching for their first win of the season after being held to a draw by Burnley.

Diego Costa shook off a niggling injury to score two for Chelsea, and Nathan Dyer also scored a pair of goals as Swansea stayed joint top of the table with Chelsea as the only two teams with 3 wins out of three.

In the Fantasy Soccerball mini league, Fringe Putters still lead the way but El Worldies have narrowed the gap a little bit. For the rest of the teams, the transfer window can’t come quick enough as they’ll be looking to make the changes needed to see them move up the table.
