Those of you who had the foresight to put in some Hull, Tottingham and Arsenal players into your teams at the start of the season will be benefiting from games this week as the clubs start their European adventures.
Arsenal kick off their Champions League campaign with a trip to Turkey to face Besiktas in the first leg of their play off match on Tuesday with the second leg the following week. It could be a tough tie against Slaven Bilic’s side who beat Feyenoord in the last round, with former Newcastle and Chelsea player Demba Ba scoring a hat-trick.
On Thursday night, Arsenal’s north London neighbours Tottingham take on that well-known Cypriot team AEL Limassol and the Hull City Tigers will travel to Belgium to play KSC Lokeren in the Europa League.
All three teams won at the weekend and so they’ll be looking to take that good form into these matches to put themselves in a good position for the return home legs next week. Arsenal need the victory just a little bit more so that they make the lucrative Champions League group stages.
Aaron Ramsey will be the key man for many DT managers tonight, he is the most selected player in the competition with nearly half of all the teams taking part selecting the Arsenal midfielder.
